We asked for Forward Control Jeeps on the farm stories, and Ben (aka FlatfenderBen on social media) sent us a great one. Ben writes:
My FC-150 was brought to Windy Sage Farms in 2021.
I had admired this FC for close to 20 years. The owner of a local scrap yard had it, and a parts FC was sitting around. After asking and inquiring multiple times over the years, he said he was ready to sell, so I ended up buying the parts FC, but decided I didn’t want to spend the money on the complete one.

A few days later, the guy called me and said that after more than 20 years of the FC sitting around the scrapyard in various places and around the shop, an excavator hit the front of it. He said he was just sick and didn’t even want to look at it anymore! He told me he would cut the price in half if I wanted it.
So I went back and got it.
I put it in my shop, tuned it up, changed the starter and the carb, switched wheels and tires.
It has been working hard on our farm ever since.
