The July 30, 1945 Life Magazine included a two page article of the just introduced civilian Jeep.
The article appears to have been created from press items (photos and copy) given out as part of the “Jeep Day” event staged at CESOR Farm on July 17 and at the Willys-Overland factory on July 18. We are not sure that the family, supposedly on their way to church, think much of the five-passenger seating comfort.
